Family Medicine Residency Leadership

Program Director- Ryan Hudson, DO

Ryan Hudson, DO, serves as the Program Director of the Harnett Health Family Medicine Residency and serves as clinical faculty for the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship. Prior to joining Harnett Health, he was part of the clinical faculty for the Kern Medical Center Family Medicine residency program from 2007-2008 and a partner physician with Southern California Permanente from 2008 – 20016. He moved to the Raleigh area in 2016 to complete a primary care sports medicine fellowship with Campbell University.  

Dr. Hudson received his medical degree from the Western University of Health Sciences School of Osteopathic Medicine in Pomona, CA. He did his Family Medicine residency at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, CA. He is board certified in Family Medicine, and has a CAQ in Primary Care Sports Medicine.  His professional interests include graduate and undergraduate medical education, and caring for athletes of all ages.


Associate Program Director-Regina Bray Brown, MD

Dr. Bray is the Associate Program Director for the Family Medicine Residency Program.  She also serves as the Harnett Health Director of Medical Education.  Dr. Bray received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her residency training in Family Medicine at the VCU-Fairfax Family Medicine Residency Program. She is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.  Dr. Bray has over 5 years of Graduate Medical Education experience and enjoys teaching both residents and medical students.
